In this query, deaths are reported by the day UDOH was notified of their first positive test, not the date of death as reported on [https://coronavirus.utah.gov/]. Deaths often occur days to weeks after they are first diagnosed with COVID-19.
Race/ethnicity data: race categories are not mutually exclusive and will not sum to the total cases, as cases can identify as more than one race. "Other race" includes cases that identified as a race not listed. "Unknown race" captures cases for whom race data was not provided, either through the data not being collected or the case not reporting that data.
