Nationally, nearly 1 in 5 women and 1 in 71 men reported experiencing rape at some time in their lives.^1^
Among adult women surveyed in 2010, 26.9% of American Indian/Alaska Native women, 22.0% of non-Hispanic Black women, 18.8% of non-Hispanic White women, 14.6% of Hispanic women, and 35.5% of women of multiple races experienced an attempted or a completed rape at some time in their lives.^1^
In 2017, among youth in Utah, 15.8% of Hispanic youth and 9.2% of White youth experienced being physically forced to have sexual intercourse. ^2^
