PNCSched
The Baby Your Baby program encourages mothers-to-be to see their health care provider before the 13th week of pregnancy and to go back for at least 13 visits before birth. Going to your health care provider early and often will help you have a healthy pregnancy and baby. Go before week 13. Get 13 visits.
PNCSched
Prenatal care trimester is the month that prenatal care began. It means there was no care until the indicated trimester.
GeoLHD_2015
Prior to 2015 San Juan County was part of the Southeast Local Health District. In 2015 the San Juan County Local Health District was formed. Data reported are for all years using the current boundaries.
BirthData
Birth certificates are filed electronically by hospital birth certificate clerks. The
information comes from a variety of sources including a worksheet the mother fills out, the
mother's prenatal record, and the delivery record. The Office of Vital Records and Statistics
has a Quality Control program where every hospital is audited annually. Births are randomly
selected and hospital records are checked to verify the accuracy of the reported information.
Overview
The birth data in this IBIS-Q query module come from the Utah Birth
Certificate database. The database is maintained by the Utah Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Vital Records and Statistics. The population data
used for the denominator were produced by the Utah Governor's Office
of Planning and Budget (GOPB) for years 1980-1999 and the U.S. Census Bureau
for years 2000 and later, are considered the most accurate available.
Getting Started
Follow the steps to narrow your query and display your results. When you are done
forming your query, click "Submit" bottom of the screen (last step) to get your

Race Ethnicity in Combination
Race and ethnicity collection can be very complex. Depending on the purpose of the data, IBIS-PH users can use different levels of granularity. If the purpose is to provide a more accurate picture of the OVERALL minority population in Utah, we advise using the combined race/ethnicity selection.

You may use greater than (>) and less than(<) symbols. An entry of
(<1) yields all infants age 0 through 364 days.
You may use a plus sign (+) to indicate all ages equal to or greater
than (e.g.,"85+" yields all those aged 85 and over).

Size at gestational age
Size for Gestational Age
Small for gestational age (SGA) is a term used to describe a baby who is smaller than the usual amount for the number of weeks of pregnancy. SGA babies usually have birthweights below the 10th percentile for babies of the same gestational age. This means that they are smaller than 90 percent of all other babies of the same gestational age.
Large for gestational age (LGA) is a term used to describe a baby who is larger than the usual amount for the number of weeks of pregnancy. LGA babies usually have birthweights above the 90th percentile for babies of the same gestational age. This means that they weigh more than 90 percent of all other babies of the same gestational age.
