Risk Factors for Diabetes Prevalence Among Utah Youth

There is little difference in the prevalence of diabetes among youth by gender, but there is wide variation by race and ethnicity across the U.S., especially within the context of age. Among youth, non-Hispanic White persons have the highest risk of developing type 1 diabetes.
