2013-2015 data show the following population subgroups at higher risk of having a low birth weight infant: *Maternal age (mothers younger than 19 and older than 35) *Race and ethnicity (Utahns who are Hispanic, Black or African American, or Asian have higher rates of low birth weight than Utah's general population) *Low educational attainment (high school diploma or less) *Being unmarried
