Women are more likely to breastfeed their babies if they are: White, of Hispanic ethnicity, college-educated, married, or over age 35. The Mountain and Pacific states have the highest proportion of breastfeeding nationwide. In the Utah WIC Program, the highest rates are found in Park City and Provo.
