Health Status Outcomes for Cost as a Barrier to Health Care

Health Status Outcomes

Persons without access to health care tend to delay getting care until a problem becomes too painful or dangerous to avoid dealing with it. At this point, health problems are often expensive to treat and sometimes have serious long term implications for the individual's health. The health status of these persons may suffer due to lack of appropriate care.
