IBIS-PH Indicator Reports Introduction
Welcome to the IBIS-PH Indicator Reports page. A health indicator is a numeric
measure that depicts the status of a population or a health system on a core
public health construct. An Indicator Report provides online numerical data
for a health indicator as well as its public health context, including what the
current status is and what is being done to improve it.
Programs throughout the Utah Department of Health prepare these Indicator Reports to provide an overview of a specific public health issue in Utah. For more detailed information about Indicator Reports see the Indicator Report Contents and Usage page.
If more information is needed than what the Indicator Report provides, the Custom Query System is available or the program can be contacted directly using the information provided in the Indicator Report footer (at the bottom of the page).

- Alphabetical Index - All available Indicator Reports are listed in alphabetical order by their titles.
- Health Topics - Indicator Reports are listed inside each Health Topic. All Indicator Reports fall into at least one Health Topic. Some Indicator Reports are listed on several Health Topic pages.
- Public Health Outcome Measures Report (PHOM) - Indicator Reports that are considered priority public health objectives for Utah are included in this online report. The PHOM serves two important functions: as Utah's Healthy People plan and report, and as the Utah Department of Health annual report to the state legislature.
