Available Services for Blood Pressure: Doctor-diagnosed Hypertension

The Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention Program (HDSPP) at the Utah Department of Health has a goal to decrease the prevalence of heart disease and cerebrovascular disease (stroke) in the state. HDPSPP created a manual to educate health care providers on the most up-to-date recommendations on how to take a blood pressure and treat patients with hypertension. HDSPP also partners with agencies to improve quality of care at the systems level for patients with high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
