View System Documentation - Creating SVG Map Layers for the Map XSLTThis page discusses the issues with the Map SVG XSLT. Map files are represented in a vector based format. This section describes what is needed to create an SVG XSLT for a given map along with the sub areas of interest.
The IBIS-PH Choropleth maps are extremely rudimentary. The basic operation
is to "fill" a sub area with a color based on that sub area's choropleth
value. The actual area value is able to be displayed on mouse over but there
is not anything statistically going on with the map and what it displays.
