IBIS-PH Community Snapshot Reports, Contents and Usage

What Are Community Snapshot Reports?

The IBIS Community Snapshot Reports are dynamic summary tables and footnotes that use existing IBIS-PH Indicator Reports to display data for a Utah community, along with comparison data for Utah and the U.S. where available.

The Indicator Report must include a graphical view with data for a community type such as local health district or Utah Small Areas in order to be included in the Community Snapshot Report for any communities of that type. For instance, in order to see a summary of data for the Utah County Health Department, the Indicator Report must have a graphical view and data for local health districts.

As an example, the Indictor titled 'Smoking Among Adults' has a graphical view and accompanying data for local health districts (see below).

Therefore, this Indicator Report data can be used in a Community Snapshot for any of the 12 local health districts in Utah. The Community Snapshot Report illustrated below includes the 'Smoking Among Adults' data for Utah County Health Department, along with data from other Indicators that are considered risk factors for illness ('Risk Factors for Illness' is one of a categorical subset of all the Indicators available for the community).

The only community type available on IBIS now is Utah Local Health District.
